Years ago, while leading the Song Circle at Artichoke Music someone asked if I knew this song. I remembered it from the days of the peace marches going on fifty years ago now. This song was one I heard then as sung by the likes of Pete Seeger and was written by Ernie Sheldon. Once recalled, this song remained in our repertoire and we recorded it on our Portland Romance cd.
