This Beatles song is really fun to play and sing for the groove factor that defined the boundless talent of John Lennon and Paul McCartney and the Beatles in 1964. Fun to play and never gets old.

This is a perfect piece to practice going from the F chord to the "Power C" on the uke and for using the upstroke with feeling. The "power C" is achieved by simply fretting both the 1st & 2nd string at the 3rd fret (instead of just the 1st string). This gives you a G/C/G/C or double 1's and 5's for a strong combination of unisons (two of G, two of C) and two 1/5 intervals all strummed together in a simple two-finger chord. When you brush back and forth from the F to the C chords, you get the Beatles vibe right away by letting the song lead your rhythm! Use a Down, Down, UP, Up, Down Up strum, or try the slap strum. It's all fun so go ahead, give it a try!
