NORWEGIAN WOOD
by Lennon & McCartney

A Beatles classic beauty. The verse in Norwegian Wood goes from the 1 to the 7, and then from the 1 to a 1 minor in the refrain. This is an unusual twist that is fun to play with. The Beatles version is in the key of E so that means E to D, and then E to E minor. You can follow along to the Beatles' rendition on uke by placing a capo on 2nd fret and playing in D - so chord shapes will be D to C, and then D to D Minor.
