RIVER WALTZ

Kate Power (Tales from Puddletown)
This lovers waltz could be a fitting melodic overlay to Temperance Creek, set in the Imnaha and Hell's Canyon in eastern Oregon, and the love affair in the wilderness like none other. This could be her song to her cowboy, Skip, in the wilderness, as much as it was to mine in the city... In more recent versions the word "riddle of time" has replaced "middle of time". Poetic license.
